Diving degrees in Israel
In the State of Israel there is the Israeli Diving Law which aims to regulate diving procedures. The diving law requires the use of diving equipment, a diving license and insurance and also, according to the Israeli diving law, you cannot dive alone, you can swim in pairs or more. The law also refers to permitted diving depths as well as prohibited diving areas.
Recreational Diving is Divided into Several Levels
two stars
Advanced open water diver - a level that allows diving to a depth of up to 30 meters, accompanied by another diver.
senior diver
A diver certified to dive to depths of 39-42 meters (depending on the organization) and authorized to assist in guiding dives and supporting diving courses.
B
Qualified instructor level B
will be able to teach diving at different levels.
one star
Open water diver - a grade that allows diving up to a depth of 18 meters, accompanied by another diver with a grade of two stars or higher.
three stars
A rescue diver is a diver who has undergone a course in providing first aid in the water.
A
Grade A Assistant Instructor
A diver at this level will be able to conduct refresher dives and familiarization dives.
